Heritage Christian Services Compass Designation  

 

Heritage Christian Services has been validated as a Compass agency by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities since the program’s inception more than two decades ago.  

A Compass designation is achieved by agencies that have demonstrated their ability to consistently provide quality support and services that exceed minimum regulatory requirements. Achieving Compass reflects not only excellence in current practices, but also a deep commitment to continuous improvement. It is evaluated regularly by NYS OPWDD.  

We are one of only four organizations in New York state to earn this distinction, ranking HCS in the top 1% of highest-quality providers.  Additionally, we are the longest-accredited Compass organization. 

Our Compass designation honors the compassion, skill and dedication of our team, reflecting our shared commitment to creating endless possibilities for every person.

Our health and wellness center in Henrietta is open to the community and provides a wide array of services all in one place, like therapies, classes, conferences and clubs.

Springdale Farm

The farm is an agricultural education center in Ogden that hosts events, field trips, summer camps and private rental opportunities. It’s also a day program site for adults with disabilities.
