From residential supports to community-based services, we hold ourselves to standards that go beyond compliance and focus on what truly matters in people’s lives. That commitment has been recognized and strengthened over time through evolving state initiatives. When New York state first launched the Compass program, we were encouraged to participated to participate as a way to demonstrate excellence beyond baseline requirements, and Heritage Christian maintained that distinction for more than two decades. Quality at Heritage Christian is reinforced through consistent oversight, review and follow-through. We regularly evaluate our practices, measure outcomes and refine our systems to ensure that supports remain responsive, effective and person-centered. Heritage Christian Services remains subject to regular oversight and review through the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities’ Division of Quality Improvement, as part of New York’s statewide regulatory framework. Our commitment isn’t about meeting minimum requirements. It’s about setting a higher bar — and continuously raising it.
