August was a month to celebrate summer. From visits to Bills Camp, Darien Lake and the Erie County Fair, to enjoying fellowship at Family Night at Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp, and celebrating Expressive Beginnings Child Care’s 15th anniversary in Henrietta, it was a busy and enjoyable time for people at Heritage Christian Services. Smiling faces tell the story of new adventures, reminders that we are at our best when we seize the moment, create new experiences and find joy in life’s simple pleasures. 

These points of connection speak to the heart of our mission. The photo at a baseball game captures a treasured moment in time. A boat ride on the lake fills the senses with the sights, sounds and feel of summer. Those memories linger long after the season fades. 

I’m filled with pride in seeing talented staff members go above and beyond to facilitate these summer moments. They carry us into a new month inspired and renewed, ready to build upon our faithful foundation.

Springdale Farm

The farm is an agricultural education center in Ogden that hosts events, field trips, summer camps and private rental opportunities. It’s also a day program site for adults with disabilities.
