Homes with Heart: A Milestone Worth Celebrating

This month’s blog is authored by Mark Zawacki, vice president of advancement and executive director of the Heritage Christian Services Foundation.

It is a true testament to the power of community that the Homes with Heart campaign has surpassed expectations, raising nearly $10 million to renovate and build homes that will support people through the full continuum of their lives.

This incredible achievement reflects the commitment of individual donors, foundations, corporations, churches, government entities and Heritage Christian Services board members and employees. We’re especially grateful for the more than 120 first-time donors who joined our mission.

We now plan to touch 13 homes through the campaign, and work on nine has already been completed. The remaining homes are on track for completion in 2025.

Not only have we reached our goal, we’ve exceeded it. This milestone is a testament to what we can accomplish together and the lasting impact it will have on the people we serve.
