My Cause, My Cleats Fundraiser Home > My Cause, My Cleats Fundraiser A A A Bid on Cam Lewis's Cleats Dec. 2022 – Cam Lewis, #39 cornerback for the Bufflao Bills, chose Heritage Christian Services as his charitable organization for the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleats fundraiser, an initiative that offers players the opportunity to raise awareness and support causes they care about. During the Thursday. Dec. 1 game against the New England Patriots, Lewis wore customized cleats with a unique design inspired by the people he met at Heritage Christian Services and the organization’s mission. Watch a Short Video of Cam Lewis’s Visit in November Just before the game on Dec. 1, Heritage Christian Services revealed a new logo and the tagline: “People of possibility.” In the first half of the game, Cam Lewis ran out to the playing field sporting the new HCS logo on his cleats! “We’re thrilled that Cam Lewis chose Heritage Christian Services as the organization he’s supporting through My Cause My Cleats and we celebrate our shared values around inclusivity and dignity for all people,” said Marisa Geitner, president and chief executive officer, Heritage Christian Services. “Our founding principles remain the same and our refreshed brand reflects how we welcome the community to the next generation of services and supports, and how we invite people to join our workforce. …Cam Lewis inspires us to recruit people who believe in the power of love and care, because that’s what makes our community better.” As part of My Cause, My Cleats with Cam Lewis, the shoes will be available by auction. Proceeds from the auction will go to Heritage Christian Services and its mission to honor the dignity and worth of all people, including care professionals, children, older adults, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
