Refreshing our Values and Behaviors

As our 40^th anniversary of providing services to our community approaches, this is a great time to reflect on how our founding values have been important to our success. Our values are the cultural cornerstones of our agency, guiding the work we perform daily.

Many people throughout our organization contributed to the refresh of our values, and I’m thrilled to finally share them. These refreshed values follow the work done in 2022 to sharpen our mission and vision statements, launch a fresh new look to our logo and introduce our “People of possibility” tagline.

• Integrity: Honesty and transparency in intentions, actions and words.
• Inclusion: Respect and belonging for all, celebrating unique perspectives and experiences.
• Compassion: Open hearts, dignity and respect for others and ourselves.
• Excellence: Determination to meet and exceed quality standards.
• Joy: Lightheartedness, celebrations and laughter together.

Supervisors and agency leadership will play a critical role in ensuring these values are incorporated in all levels of the agency, as our staff continue to live these values every day.
